gas combi boiler NO HOT WATER

hi my gas combi boiler is 8yrs ... and im struggling to get hot water... you can here the switch if you listern very carefully... but its just not firing up... plumber tester the switch an i think the pump.. or he said its not the pump i cant remember.. we have had him out twice now and even he is running out of ideas... he said next to change will be surcuit board but that wilbe pricey and what if it isnt that and i still have problems.... any ideas

Get British Gas to have a look at it.
Agree with bookbinder - call in the experts.
Possibly the diaphragm. I asume your heating is working?
Cheap part but a sod to fit.

yeah heating working fine just the hot water...

british gas will be expensive?
If you want it fixed, you'll have to pay.
You need a proper boiler guy, Honey...... not a plumber. I wonder if he's checked the operation of the diverter valve (points the flow at either heating or hot water depending on which is selected)
Then maybe change the circuit board. :o)))

he is full reg for gas.. he was the one who installed all our centrall heating system.. but he seems to be stumped with my problem lol

And that is why as The Builder says , you need a proper boiler man.
