If you put a bunch of washing on the line to dry and it had gone through a cycle of getting dry and re-soaked by rain again about 5 times due to you being too lazy to get it in, would you rewash it in the machine or just wait until it got dry again and wear it?

I stuff it in the tumble dryer, I would only wash it again if a seagull had pooed on it.
I'd put it on a final rinse and spin again.
Do as tilly2 dies, the acid and chemicals in the rain can react with skin to cause itching, rashes and there could even be microscopic parasites in the rainwater.

Wouldn't that mean none of us should ever leave the house without full body waterproof overalls when it's raining?
Daisheena thinks water is evil stuff, evian, go look at the bottled water thread. Load of rubbish - just dry it and wear it.

Didn't people think water was evil about 500 years ago. Must have been right stinkers!

No tumble so maybe I'll just leave it out there for a bit longer :)
Can't beat the smell of rained on washing when it dries. I'd just leave it. :)
It was then, though, evian - people defacated in the streets then, water made you ill then due to no purification. That's why people drank wine and beer then - no such excuse these days.
I'd re-rinse it. You only have to look at what rain leaves on your car to know it's not pure mountain springwater falling down.
my neighbour does that a lot, the longest she has left her washing out for is 2 weeks.
water was dirtier 500 years ago, this is why people drank beer with all meals
Until they start putting a dash of Lenor in the clouds, I'll stick to washing it again :)
I always think a dash of rain water makes the clothes softer. The natural chemicals act as conditioner and I'd leave it out.
Wash again.
Just leave it to dry. It will be ok.
I am with boxy on this one. Just dry it all out and it will be fine. As long as there is no poo on it rainwater is very clean!
I agree with maidup, my mum always said rainwater softened the clothes. I have done this many times, wet/dry, wet/dry and I have sensitive skin, never harmed me!!
