He is beautiful, lovely picture and both doing well?

Yes indeed. They're both well. The field they are in is the same one where the Canada geese have nested and had their young too as well as a few sheep and lambs, so it's lovely to see all the young animals.

Minnie and her foal belong to a neighbour; they're in a feld next to us. You'll see the story unfolding if you go back to the first post; happy, then dreadfully sad and now happy again:-)

I'm pretty sure sire IS a Welsh cob. I'm going to fnd out what foal's name is ASAP.
