Does anyone out there have a phone number for Virgin Media that I, as a non-Virgin customer, can contact them on.
I want to stop them sending me their promotional junk mail. I have emailed them 3 times, and had 1 acknowledgement, asking them to stop but to no avail. I just want to get through to a real person but the so-called "Help" section of their website seems to be only for Virgin account holders.

Nice try ChiChi but, like their website, this number appears to be for Virgin account holders only!

Any other ideas?
Have you tried just calling that number and pressing any options until you get through to an advisor?
yes, agree with evian, keep holding on until you get to speak to an advisor, through their 'numbers' challenge...gawd that awful choice of holding music!!

There are only 2 options, either your Vigin phone number or your Virgin account number.
I don't have either!!

I'll trawl through all the numbers that I can find and I'll let you know if I'm successful.
sorry it was'nt much help....damned elusive are'nt they. Good luck!
I found 0800 052 0741 (on a Virgin leaflet lol)
It's an invitation to join Virgin leaflet tho, so be prepared.
this might help you

particularly 0161 296 2911 or 0845 600 0789

Good luck
another thought..do you have a virgin shop near to you..they might be able to davise you better.
Sorry the above link is incomplete. Click on the link then where it says 'Search to find an alternative number' type in 0845 454 1111. Lots of Virgin Media numbers will appear. Good luck
"I want to stop them sending me their promotional junk mail."
ROFL
You and millions of others.
Well I wish you the best of luck. Why not send a letter to Richard Branson and make it "PERSONAL" on the envelope ? He might get to read it then.
Send Mr Branson a letter to Necker Island asking him how he would feel if you mailed him every week at his own retreat. might work
i know that even Virgin customers get this junk mail too
Definitely Sinders, I get them addressed in my name and to the householder.

Different depts, different numbers.
Sir Richard Branson is not at the helm of Virgin Media, he now only holds a 6.5% stake in the company.
I kept getting their rubbish too. They addressed me as "The Occupier" with my address. I got a letter every few weeks. I phoned the number on the letter and asked to be transferred to the dept that sends the letter. That worked and I don`t get any more junk from them. I don`t think you`ll find the relevant department on their website.
Try sending them back marked Return To Sender or in an envelope. I doubt it'll make a difference though. I wouldn't ring- you'll probably hang on for ages
