Someone I know (and dislike) pleaded guilty to several offences and appeared at Crown Court on 29th March for sentencing. There has been nothing reported in the press. Any suggestions?

If the case is still sub judice, it might not be reported yet - better asking this in the Law section, for those who know?

Doesnt appear to a verdict yet, looks like the Judge has asked for reports which is standard form - I know of one similar case down here - got 8 months for first time - more obscene photos than pedophilia, Mrs O.....
point being it took some 3 weeks for the various reports to be assembled,

I have a vested interest in him because the little sh*t bumped my car last week
Anyone can ring the court office .They don't ask any questions and will give you the result of the case. I know someone that did this .If you search on here it will tell you they are obliged to tell anyone that rings for results.
Complicated case, the Judge will have asked for reports from the police, social services, probation, child protection agency and all the rest. That is why he has been put on the sex offenders register while the sentence is decided.
Will be several months before he gets the actual sentence. It will be reported once sentence is passed but until then you will just have to wait.
