Looking at the new moon at the moment. Hopefully the threatened cloud stays away.

If you look at the new crescent moon you will also see Jupiter and Venus side by side getting closer next to it . There should be a good SS sighting .
I am no good at where NSW is, so where is it to the moon, which i cn see from hall window. Thanks
The tiny crescent moon is just beautiful - hope it stays clear for another 30 mins :)

I guess the moon is about SW at the moment - so the ISS should appear from the horizon slightly right of the moon... I think
Thanks Dave, clouds gone over it now-hope they go again, or will have to look other nights, only just noticed this subject, and seen wendilla always says, so will log on around 6 most nights to look

Well that was a beautiful sight with the planet line up. Tomorrows sighting.. 7 29pm for 2 mins Wsw to S
great view here in stoke on trent as well...isnt the sky beautiful tonight?

We sometimes never notice these skies when planets are in full view. But they are on view getting closer for a few evenings. And the crescent moon tonight shows them up.
