There are 2 sightings this evening

1st 5 52 for 2 mins SE departing E

2ND SIGHTING 7 26 PM FOR 2 MINS W departing S

Cloudy so far in the Leics.

Don't forget to look out for the 2 planets Jupiter and Venus getting closer each evening on view up till 9 ish

It was so clear here (York) on Saturday night I could see the moons of Jupiter with the naked eye.
I must say that was a first for me.

No sighting here but might clear for 7 26 second sighting.

Had brill sighting last night, ISS and the two planets...not so sure about tonight but will still poke me head out of the door. Thanks Wendi for your wonderful updates and keeping the interest in this great subject. I've always been interested in the heavens and astro stuff...but you are keeping me up to date and I can't thank you enough for that.

No problem Daisya. It is surprising how many people don't know they can see it at certain times. Been posting for over 4 years so all of UK should know now lol.

Bit too cloudy in Essex at the moment, but will pop my head round the door to try and catch the 7.26. sighting. x

Just had a look out the 2 planets are in view here in Leics. so thats a good sign for a sighting.

Could see Jupiter's moons very clearly through my 50x18 Canon binocs last night - lovely :-)

Hazy here at the moment though ...

All the excitement is gone now that the Shuttles are grounded.We used to get double flybyes at times. There might be the odd chance we might see the supply ships now that the russians are delivering to the station.

No sighting even the planets are not in view now it has all clouded over in Leics. within half an hour from looking. Tomorrows sighting is 6 30 pm
