Yesterday I asked you about this photo

Well, here's another one. Same room I'm sure. Same door, curtains, tables with cloths etc but this time a group of men with sort of crescent shaped badges. Any thoughts?

Did men have bigger ears in the olden days?
Could be some sort of works photo, i think.
If the last one is dinner ladies from a school, then this could be the male teachers. Looks about right.

Oh it was de rigeur to have big ears!

Yes but what work? So do you think the ladies may be canteen staff?
What boxtops say's does sound right.
Question Author
With badges Boxy?
Maybe the 'golf' section of the school.
There seem rather too many of them to be teachers in one school.

I think they are the workers in a firm, the manages or the clerical staff whilst the ladies worked in their canteen.

Are these family photos Horseshoes?
could well be, horseshoes - I remember some of my older male teachers wearing lapel badges e.g. regimental pin badges.
