Freezer error!

What I thought was a joint of lamb in the freezer on thawing turns out to be a piece of skirt (it was folded over so I thought it was a joint). I always use skirt for pies etc but is it possible to roast it? If so, does it have to be done slowly? Many thanks.

Thanks boxtops but it's quite a large piece - about 750g - hence my mistaking it for a joint when it was folded up. If necessary I can stew it, but was hoping for a roast today!
go out to sainsbury's now and get your lamb and have the stew the rest of the week
