I have a friend who is muslim, and i wished her well, and decided to post here for any users who will be participating. To me the same as my being wished a merry christmas or happy easter when my religious holidays come around. Tolerance actually? I stand by it x
I know exactly what the wives think. They must be consumed with grief. But i 100% guarantee you that not everyone who is participating in ramadan is at war with anyone. Or killing uk soldiers. I cant actually believw what i am reading, you cannot tar every one with the same brush? For all you know i may have family members, or indeed a partner who will be celebrating.
Nice thoughts Tinkerbell, glad to know you're so well balanced and tolerant, not like some folks around here. It's really annoying that you can't do something nice without the hate squad appearing out of the woodwork with their rabid generalisations and their factual inaccuracies.
Lived and worked in Albania for a year which is 70% muslim. Stayed with a muslim family and have never been treated so well in my life. Lovely, lovely people who adopted me into their family - so much so that I have been back twice on holiday and am going again in September. Peace to all.
Good for you tinkerbell, just looking through this post and nice to see other tolerant rational people.
Btw if you read this Maggie, I am intrigued by your year in Albania, we went there 2 years ago for 10 days, absolutely loved it, beautiful country and such friendly people, a great example of different faiths living together.
