Pregnant and feeling low

I'm 10 weeks pregnant and worried I'm not feeling right.

This pregnancy was planned and hoped for,and as far as I know I'm healthy and all is progressing normally. I've been feeling sick and very tired but I fully expected to (have been pregnant before, I have one son who is nearly 3).

At first I just put this feeling down to hormones and early pregnancy symptoms, but I feel like I'm dreading the whole process. I'm also finding it difficult to believe I really am pregnant, even after 2 positive tests, no period for 2 months and a belly which is already growing. I can't seem to shake the feeling that its not real, and its 'all in my head'.

Did anyone else feel a bit like this?

Congratulations, Daisy.

I remember going for my first scan feeling sure I would be told there was nothing there even though I'd had the positive test and seemed to spend all my days either eating cheese and onion crisps or being sick. like you, I just couldn't quite believe it had actually happened and I'm sure a lot of women feel the same way.

Don't forget too that during your first pregnancy you would be able to take it a bit easier and get plenty of rest. This time you're running round after a two year old who won't let up on all the things he wants / needs doing , just because you're feeling sick. During your son's nap time- if he still has one - stuff the housework for a while and take the chance to put your feet up.

Best wishes for your pregnancy.
