Whilst I look forward to Meryl's undoubtably masterful portrayal of Mrs Thatcher, being a 'leftie', I would've preferred a more appropriate actor - such as Bela Lugosi or Boris Karloff...but alas, they're no longer with us.

Seriously though...are you happy with the choice or Meryl? Or would you have preferred a British actress....like Lassie.

Sorry...sorry.

his tonyness no 1? I suppose if you lokk at hiw much him and his wife took from the country, yes i can see it.
As fir meryl, she is an actress, a good actress and i doubt she would let her personal beliefs get in the way of portraying such a great woman. Courted of course by blair and bottler.
would this be the mighty heroine who deregulated the banks? Ah yes, she certainly made modern Britain what it is!

I was TOTALLY pulling names out of thin air.

Heath would've gone in there...except I couldn't remember his name at the time.
