Unfortunately wendilla I have't even seen a star since before Christmas as it's been cloudy all the time.

Yes you are right and its too cloudy tonight but there are quite a few evening sightings over the next days so we might be lucky.

What is all the fuss starting Monday with the Brian Cox stargazing programme? I will watch but is something special due to happen?

Prudie, it's live I believe, he's showing Dara O'briain how to spot the stars, identify what he's looking at, etc.
I've been watching his wonders of space programme repeated on BBC4, really good viewing.
