I take 10mg Felodipine and 2.5mg Ramipril daily. I've taken today's tablets and realise I have now run out of Ramipril. I've ordered an online repeat but it will be two or three days before I get the prescription.

Will it be okay to take just the Felodipine until then?

Thanks for any replies. (Sorry if this appears twice - I seem to have lost my first submission somewhere in cyberspace).

I don´t feel that you have much choice.

Just continue the Felodipine until your Ramipril arrives....no harm will be done.

Thanks very much Sqad. I did consider asking the pharmacist if he would let me have some in advance, as a one-off (he knows me well; I've been collecting my prescriptions at the same chemist for a long time). Don't know if he would be allowed to do this though .... just a thought.

If I'm not risking my health, I will just wait.
mrs c....that is a good idea......you know him well.....so ask him.

Your health will not suffer for the lack of Ramipril for 3 days.
If your pharmacist collects your prescription from the surgery then he will let you have some on account.
My pharmacist has given me emergency supplies of my drugs a few times - they just deduct it off my next prescription.

If you can easily get to your chemist then ask them and see. But, as sqad says, you should be okay until you get the prescription from your doctor.
mrs c. if possible visit your pharmacy, i have quite ofted used there service when i run out of drugs.
