i'm always cold even when the weather is not as cold as it is now and yet mr fruits is always warm, whatever the weather, what makes some people always cold and some always warm?

Good question. Mrs R is a very hot one and a cuddle can be come quite uncomfortable after a few minutes.

I used to argue that it was body fat, but now I'm not so sure. Mind you, the bits which feel cold are the bony bits!

pml @ jj. mr kicker is soooo warm. i always snuggle on the sofa under blankies and he can get very annoyed - esp. when i do it in june/july. but my toes get cold and he makes a great hot water bottle replacement!!! he's making cocoa as we speak x

society i do have an underactive thyroid but on medication for it, have been for about a year and a half now

It makes a difference how active you are and how hot you have your central heating. If your heating is usually on quite high, say 20 degrees or higher, your body doesn't need to work to keep you warm. If you are also fairly inactive you will feel colder.
Try walking briskly for at least an hour every day and keep your heating set at 18 degrees or less; works for me!
