A nurse got me to see the doctor when mine was round about 40 beats per min. but he didn't seem too bothered. She kept asking me if I was an athlete as athletes usually have a very low heart beat.
Last night mine was 47bpm and I'm still here today!!
Wak.......CAJ´s pulse rate before taking the beta blockers was running at about 80/ min.........different scenario to yours.
Sorry Sqad, I assumed that CAJ1 was talking about pulse rate AFTER taking the beta blockers.
I've been on them for 20 years and had a normal 72 ish (?) rate beforehand.
