Yet another teenage shooting in London, one 16 year old killed, and another 15 year old injured.

/// Wendy Barrett, 42, of Chesterton Road said: “I’m absolutely devastated, I can’t imagine what his mother must be feeling this morning.///

/// Her husband Dean, 40, added: “This is not the best area to live in. There is nothing for children to do, ///

His mother should be asking herself, what was she doing letting her 16 year old roam the streets at 3-30am in the morning.

Regarding the children having nothing to do, they should have been in bed long before 3.30am.

Knowing the problems in such areas, why don't they install a load of CCTV cameras (perhaps they could install those surplus to requirement ones, that the Muslims have ordered to be removed)?

They could also operate regular multi officer, stop and search police patrols?

No 16 year old should be out at that time.
While no youngster should be out at that time, surely the blame lies with the person shooting the gun.

If this was a decent country to live in then it should be safe to walk the streets at any time.

You should not have to worry that you are going to get shot if walking home from a party late at night etc.

But then I suppose if you make no controls about who you let in the country you get this sort of thing.
No adult should be out at 3.30 a.m. either, except burglars and hookers.
I doubt if the gunman or his victims were 'let into the country'.
What hooker is still out at 3.30 in the morning, mike? She'd be in bed by then.
