Worked in a liver unit for years..(Staff nurse). just one of those things that might need repeat blood tests in 6 months or so to see if there is an upward trend but lots of common medication can slightly raise your bilirubin too. normal ranges can be misleading as well and you are only a tiny bit outside it...it might actually be normal for you..just talk to your...

To me, those bilirubin levels are NORMAL

A liver scan?....waste of time.

What would I do if they were my results?........NOTHING

What would I do if I were you? ask for GammaGT, ALT AST ALP´s..all blood tests.

Don´t be surprised if the doctor says.." Not necessary"

Thanks Sqad ast alt alp's normal what is a gamma gt?
Dont you worry about gamma GT.........just another liver enzyme.

Keep on drinking if you want......moderately.;-)

Thanks sqad for your help I assume they would have done the gamma levels when the ast's etc were done as I have said all of these are well within the normal ranges perhaps I will ask the surgery 2 morrow regards carlyon bay
carlyon, do you take statins, or had any problem with your gall bladder ?

Hi anneasquith
No I not taking statins but I'm thinking it might be something to do with my gall bladder as I have had a sort of indigestion type discomfort for a couple of weeks normal antacids give short relief but not very effective I am at a good level of fitness etc sleep well good diet normal BMI etc so to have this issue is baffling me thanks for your interest carlyon bay
