Got an LG 42" LCD tele...approx 1 year old. Yesterday, they "revamped" sky sports news and both ends are now cut off the screen (the info bar on the right and some of the new stuff on the left)

is this now being screened in widescreen and should i adjust my tele ? i'm a bit of a thickton with stuff like this so treat me gently !!!!!

I have Sky Sports News.......just checked it now. It has been revamped with a different format but other than that I don't have a problem.
I have a full wide screen to view.........if you have blanks on left and right change screen format with remote i.e Widescreen, Zoom etc
Does the tv have an "original" or "automatic setting"? This will automatically set the picture to either widescreen or 4:3 (non-widescreen...i.e. old "square" format) depending on what program you watch. My tv sets to widescreen for modern tv/films and 4:3 if something from the good old days (i.e. 70's or 80's) without any action on my part.
