I have been recommended to take glucosamine and chondroitin tablets to help with arthritis. Would these be OK to take as I'm on blood pressure tablets?

Thats helpful KARL, thanks a lot
Might be a problem there Bradley.
Glucosamine contains a high concentration of salt and if you are on a salt restricted diet it may cause a rise in your BP.
By all means, start you G&C regime, but monitor your BP for the first 2 or 3 months.
If you want to add in something that might help...Zinaxin I think I've spelt it correctly(purified Ginger ) and Curcumin. (both seem to have very strong natural anti inflammatory properties).Actually my mother had this recommended by a pain control specialist consultant. as she can't take the conventional non steroidal painkillers....she can now knit again which for her was a huge benefit.
