Hi, my 13 year old daughter has a raised rash on her upper arms, she has had these spots for years and it is now getting worse. I've always thought it was to do with diet but she doesn't eat to unhealthily....any ides what they are and how to get rid of them?

is it actual spots, or is it the little raised pores where the hairs come out of? I used to have that in my youth (in fact I still do but it's not so noticeable now), I found that exfoliating and buffing helped a bit, but I never really found a 100% solution.
does it look like little goosebumps? get her one of those exfoliating gloves and a nice moisturiser and see if that helps

google keratosis pillaris

I think that it but hers doesn't look as red as that....

Cheers guys
My daughter used to get this, till I got some tea tree lotion out of wilkinsons, its 97p!!! and works a treat, ive tried all the expensive spot stuff and none of them worked, but all her spots are gone...just apply with a cotton wool pad daily!
