He failed a trial for QPR , played for Wealdstone , then Coventry in 1983 and then 4 other clubs, But the number of games recorded for England is 78 though some records show 75

You're right EGTB, dunno why I put 74, I knew it to be 78. Fat fingers, I suppose. Thanks for pointing it out.
