In theory they are safe to take together, although the MCA has reported incidents of possible problems of taking levothyroxine and St Johns Worts together.
For further advice speak to your GP or pharmacist next time you collect your prescription.

I agree with squsalminney.........cases have been reported of St Johns Wort "cocking up" the levels of TSH which are essential in gauging dose levels of thyroxine.

I wouldn´t risk it.
