my dad has a year to live due to an aynerisum in the arotic artery his legs are calcified so a by pass is not possible could laser therapy un block these legs?

Laser treatment for peripheral vascular disease is very new and is only done in selected centres. In answer to your question "do I know anything about it" the answer is NO.

The aneurysm is clearly inoperable, due to it's position or because of the general health of your father.....the latter I would guess.

In you father's case. I would guess that he has an abdominal aortic aneurysm and of course a bypass aorto-femoral graft would be desirable....BUT the femoral part ( blood vessels of the leg) is crap......which means the operation would be a waste of time.
I suppose if Laser Atherectomy could improve the blood vessels in his leg, then they possibly could give the aorto-femoral graft a shot.........but it "don't look too good"
