The Grand National will be aired on BBC1 at 4:15 tomorrow (an updated list of runners and odds can be found here; thanks Redman).

So, how much will you be fluttering away on tomorrow's race? I've gone for £20 spread over 3 horses - Black Apalachi, Erics Charm and Niche Market (all each way).

putting a bet on Hipy
will let you decide on the other line of thought :-)
100% agree with BOO. Cruel sport. Obviously won't be betting.
We have an ABer with the username Rough Quest - a previous winner of the National and just been on the parade at the age of 27 - still looking good.
Sorry duff info - he is 24 and won it in 1996.
I won't be betting, with my luck the horse I have a bet on will loose. I think I will save my money.
£30 win snowy morning. But only because I won £50 yesterday.
I still look great at 24 ! Aha ! (Wish I was 24 again !),,. well, folks, I have backed 'Erics Charm' and 'Irish Raptor'.....had to have a horse with one name that began with an 'R'...alot of GN winners have Rs in their name....good luck to all....enjoy the race. Pray for no fatalities.
I would really love Ruby Walsh to win - its always great trying to work out what he is saying when he's being interviewed.
I was going to back Snowy Morning, Hello Buck, and the Package, but the OH has already been to the bookies and put his £10 on some donkeys, so I will just watch it instead.
OH NO! Not looking good for Ruby Walsh ! OUCH!
Bu**er - poor old Ruby. Richard Johnson gets the ride on Tricky Trickster, as Barry Geraghty takes over on Big Fella Thanks.
5 against the field: Priests Leap / Snowy Morning / Eric's Charm / Irish Raptor / Cerium.

Early morning odds were 150-1 / 16-1 / 50-1 / 33-1 / 66-1.
I backed a few horses, and one of them was State of Play....
Woooooo, hoooo!! I'm a winner....although I didn't bet much on it...only £1
I know, it doesn't sound much. But hey, betting on a horse each way improves your chances of winning!! I won last year too, with Comply or Die each way.
