I am just getting over a vomiting diahrrea bug. I was up most of monday night. Yesterday I just had a little bit of toast and a few slices of banana. Today I feel a lot better. My stomach is still slightly crampy and I don't have much appetite. I have to eat something. I was thinking of some chicken soup and bread. What do you suggest?

Toast and banana is good, i would also suggest clear soup and some kind of flat sugary drink (powerade is good but flat coke also works)
Eat whatever you feel like eating.

Drink plenty of fluid(water) that is the important aspect.
Now in my case it would be toast and marmite! Agree with sqad drink plenty of water and if you are feeling hungry then it is likely that you are on the mend so eat what you fancy, but not too much of it, and probably not dairy produce.

Thanks for your help. I just had some chicken soup. I only managed half of it and give the rest to my dogs. My sense of taste seems to be effected The soup had no taste to it. I have been drinking lots of water. Do any of you know a quick way of making coke and lemonade flat?
Actually GSDfan. It won't hurt if you drink it fizzy.
aah you poor thing.... I would stick with toast and water really.. till you recover your appetite.. I know its boring... but at least it wont upset you more!
Shake it...lot's.
Only by repeatedly shaking it and letting the air out? Ther may well be a more scientific way .....
Shake it or stir it, or put a spoonful of sugar in it!
I know this is a bit late so your tummy is probably ok now, but for the future.................
I agree with LoftyLottie - toast and marmite is the way to go. I also find a hot ginger drink helps settle things:- put a teaspoon worth of grated fresh ginger in a jug and pour a cup/mug full of boiling water over it, stir. Leave for a couple of minites then strain back into the cup/mug - sweeten to taste with honey.
