Adjust your diet -

eliminate all dairy produce, all pork proucts, all spices. Use soya products as substitutes.

Use an emoliant in your bath, don;t have your bath too hot, and only pat your skin dry.

Hopefully you will see some improvement.
myself and my daughter get this, it could still be a problem for a few reasons:
you may need to get your boiler checked, my daughter was getting it really bad and I did everything, eventually got the levels in the water checked and have since had a new boiler put in, turns out some pipe or other was clogged with Sugar and it was coming out in the water, you should get your boiler checked every 6/12 months as this problem is quite common, failing that we also use Oilatum Junior, it comes as a liquid to soften the water, and also a cream to use instead of soap, After suffering with this problem for 10 years with nothing working, Oilatum did the trick and we now use it regularly, Also non-bio detergent, and biological powders will irritate your skin. Hope this help you!. x
also you can eat whatever you want! I do, and used to suffer terribly before the oilatum, but I haven't adjusted my diet at all
A friend of mine gave me a steroidal cream from pakistan and its worked for me, and my child, we had awful psoriasis and it was itchy and red, within 4 days of using this it stopped and now skin is so soft and redness free, its called provate.
don't know why I put my pipes were blocked with sugar, didn't even realise i'd written that!!! I meant blocked with something or other, must have merged the words in my head as I was typing, lol
I use 'SYNALAR' (Prescription only) worked for me. The slightest itch, on goes the cream.

many thanks for all your answers
I have afriend who goes for lght treatment and she finds that this helps keep it at bay. When she can't get to the hospital she uses a sunbed for 3 mins max, I know sunbeds are not good for you but she says it helps and she doesn't use it all the time.
