It maybe because yesterday one of the competing skiers died in a horrible accident on the slopes while training and unfortunately it has put a cloud over the whole games. Enthusiasm has been depleted.

Got home a bit trolleyed and crashed into bed. I watched the highlights this morning.

Double casino weekend this weekend ... down in the town last night, and Geneva tonight ... Woo Hoooo !!

Great to see Shelley Rudman leading out Team GB.

I thought they dealt well with Kumaritashvili's death on the luge track. Respectful silence, and applause for the Georgian team when they came out.

BBC's commentator Colin Bryce says the track is dangerous. It's a bit worrying that the Canadians have hogged all the practice time for themselves, and not allowed foreign competitors to get used to the track.
