Morning Everyone, I hope we're all well.

I wondered if many, or any, of you watch Question Time on Thursdays?

This week's line-up:

Lord Falconer
Theresa May MP
Clare Short MP
George Galloway
Melanie Phillips

Which of these do you find the most repulsive? I'll put £200 on Iraq being mentioned within the first 3 minutes of the show.

Will anyone be about to discuss the show tonight "live" on AB? I would quite happily chair (I'm no Dimbles however!) and try to keep the peace. What do you think? Could become a regular feature on AB if it proves popular?

I thought we should test the water with this!

I disagree.....I can't stand Griffin but he was invited onto the programme and Dimbleby is supposed to be impartial........he wasn't.

Editor - and probably you may not know that the whole Dimbleby family formed a publishing company.

In 1985 at the time of the Wapping Print Dispute, which subsequently spread countrywide, the publishers (including your 'Dear Dimbles' sacked Print Union workers en masse. David Dimbleby was a director of the Dimbleby Newspaper Group, former publishers of the Richmond and Twickenham Times, acquired by the Newsquest Media Group in 2001 for a reported £12 million.

So he walked away a very rich individual - after ruining many former employees' livelihoods.

As I said - my vote goes to Dimbleby.

Melanie Phillips just shot herself in the foot.

She says the captain of England football team should be a role model and John Terry should be relinquished of the title.

As has been said elsewhere in these posts Tony Adams was jailed for drunk brawling and following his realse later became England's captain.

Peter Shilton (goalkeeper) and holder of the record number of England caps, was convicted of drink driving and alleged drug abuse. Also extra-marital affairs. Later he too became captain of his country.

Melanie Phillips needs to research before spouting.

Not sure what to say to that to Sir.Prize - I think expressing my opinions on unions etc might hurt my appearance of impartiality.

I understand craft - he did have a go himself. I think most of us would have had trouble appearing "impartial" in front of someone who said the KKK were a "non violent" group.

Absolutely Ed......how can any reasonable person be impartial with regard to the BNP...but as Dimbleby couldn't be I think Griffin shouldn't have been invited. If I was told he would be appearing, and I abhorred the bloke and what he stood for, I'd have refused to chair the programme.
