We have clear sky here at the moment in the midlands so we might be lucky for a 2 minute passing over of the SS at 6 15 pm over the uk.

Hi Wendilla. I didn't see any orange light as two others mentioned. Was it orange?
it looked like an orangey white to me...

aaaaaaa....and

cubs they most certainly are....:0)............(mrs nanny goat does have a ring to it though.....might change my name to Billy goats gruff?
Question Author
I would not say it was orange it is just like one of the very large planets very bright light and you can actually see the 2 arms on it and as I said just glides over the sky. You can get 4 minute sightings but not this week.
I know i was looking in the right direction. I saw a whiteish / silvery light moving very fast across the sky.

This is where you can see where the SS is and you know when it is coming over but it dont seem to be working tonight but if you click on sightings on that page you can type in your nearest city and it will tell you then just keep it in your favourites for future ref.
Sorry I've been to take son to work, thanks for letting us know anyway wendilla, I even managed to let my grandson know in time and he sounds quite impressed by it! I could only see the bright light wizzing over, my view is hindered by the looney tune next door but one who has a triple faux victorian lamp standard in his garden and it is so bright grrrr, plus the street lamps at the end of the garden . I would imagine where there is no light pollution the view is far far better.
