How do you dry off a waterproof car cover?

In this weather I find it's best to use a car cover overnight, but although it keeps the car nice and dry it's a nightmare to get dry again before the next use. Apparently they are not meant to be tumble dried and as I can't line dry it ( not very practical this weather anyway) I'm stuck - does anyone have any good ideas please?

I know its a pain, but removing the bulk of water carefuly with a window squidgee and going over with a good quality microfibre cloth while its still on the car seems to work best, nothing worse than a damp smelly car cover that traps in more water than its supposed to keep out!
