Luther B was one of the first black men to play for England but his distinction is being the first black guy to score a hat trick, which he did on his England debut.
The declaration of Independence refers to representatives of the United States of America and since it was not constituted before then, apart from mentions in draft documents, this must have been the first official use.
GWTW won 10 oscars, then a record, altho later surpassed by Titanic, I think, and maybe 1 or 2 others.
