According to the BBC website, a Saudi Arabian female journalist who worked on a TV programme which described a Saudi man's extra marital affairs has been taken to court, found guilty and sentenced to 60 lashes.

Islamic Law courts are already operating within the UK legal system (in an 'unofficial' capacity) in much the same way as Jewish Law courts have been doing so for many years.

Given the above example of how extreme Islamic Law (Sharia) can be, should this situation continue?

Should we scrap these localised Jewish and Islamic 'courts'?

If Sharia Law involves actually punishing those scum bags who break law, instead of saying we can't punish them because it may infringe their human rights, I say Bring it on, and apply it to all law breakers to different degrees.
