my son is 8 years old and has had psoriasis since he was 5 which is controlled by creams prescribed by our GP. Does anyone know of any herbal remedies or natural ways of dealing with this as we would like to go down the natural route as fed up with creams?

I swear by an oil blend made with Sandalwood oil for my psoriasis. I get mine from a local aromatherapist near me who makes chemical free products www.holistic-therapies.co.uk but not sure if she does orders by post. A bottle costs about 3 and lasts ages.

Maybe if you have a therapist near you they could make you a blend?

I have heard thet Dead Sea Salt is good for this problem.
Red Bush Tea also make a soap that is meant to be good for skin conditions. they have a website
You might want to visit a kinesiologist if you have one in your area.  Contact the Kinesiology Federation or ask at your local Health Club/Spa.  This complementary therapy will find out the underlying causes of the psoriasis.  It could be biological, nutritional or emotional and the kinesiologist will be able to pinpoint the problem and treat it.  I'm quite confident as I'm a kinesiologist myself!!
hi Have you tried aloe propolis cream from forever living products? My father has psoriasis and uses it all the time now after i reccommended it to him after using it on two of my children who suffer with exczema. It greatly reduces the itching and smells so much better than any of the creams that I was given by the doctor. I now swaer by their products and use lots of them  from shampoo and handwash to aloe drinking gel and supplements. It is not available in shops but direct from the company distributors to keep costs down  It is 12.96 a tube and worth every penny hope this helps Pam xxx  Eviesaccessories @ aol. com
