are cars ect over 25 years old still excempt from road tax. I have googled and says yes but that was dated 2007 so was wondering if they still are. Thanks

no they are not. Cars registered before 1973 are exempt!

Thanks redcrx thats what I was wondering about, I maybe never phrased my question properly for the last answer by TWR
it was always a rolling 25 year thing until 1998. then the government stopped any further cars benefitting by fixing it at cars registered before 1973.
What an ar5e, my car is 26 this year and I wouldn't of minded the free tax....
