Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

I posted some clues on Crossword section yesterday, people were kind enough to respond but two answers dont "feel" right, its the local Newham rag.
canu guys help pls ?
1. One goes to the bank for it --- E -- R -- [ 5letters]
ferry ? metro ?
2.Figures its only one amongst us -- O -- E -- [ 5 ]
loner ? cones ?

1) Ferry seems a reasonable answer. Going to the bank of a river. Don't like 'metro' as no capital letter for Bank and we call it the Tube' anyway not the metro.

I was the one who offered FERRY.

I have looked at all 115 words fitting that pattern in Chambers, and FERRY is the only one that seems to answer the clue.

If somebody else can find something bett then I defer to them.

But you go to Bank station for the Metro (Tube) - but I don't think the compiler is that devious !!

But we would not call the Tube a "Metro" in the UK.

I don't want to labour the point, as I think Ferry is correct, but you can pick up a free newspaper called the Metro at London stations.

..... so you could go to Bank station for a copy of the Metro. Or you could go to any bank for a ferry.

Dee - where does this crossword come from? If, for example, it's the Irish Times, then it won't be Metro !!

re the paper a fairly local rag The Newham Recorder on a Wed, the same crossword is repeated on Thurs in the Ilford Recorder and again on Fri in the Romford Recorder, so I do all three entries ! why not ?

Its only a tenner but helps with all the postage for all other xwords too,usually win about once a month, but sometimes put other family members names instead of mine, but they never hand over the money !
