Thanks Clanad im lookin for "IT'S IN THE BLOOD" Its my Football teams motto if you could help me with this i would be very grateful thanks again Johno
Hmmm..., this is a difficult translation, Johno99 for a number of reason to lengthy into which to go here... however, this will approximate your need:

לאמר

So... I realize the font is small... here's what you do. Highlight the phrase, copy and paste it into a word document and then highlight it again and increase the font to at least 26 or larger. Unless you have aprogram designed for using Hebrew characters, it's difficult to print them into a site such as this. The phrase says, literally, he in fhe blood be, since there is no equivalent in Hebrew for it is or it's so the masculine nominative is utilized in this case...
Cutting and pasting to a word document works, since i've just tried it, but whn you enlarge it, go to font 72 so you're tattoist can more easily see it and render it onto your body (shudder)... Best of luck....

Thanks Clanad really appreciate your help thanks again Johno

Clanad, thanks for your answer again, however i wanted hebrew symbols going up the bottom part of my arm. I was wondering if you could help me find a phrase to do with either loyalty or respect long enough to fit the bottom of my arm? i would be very gratefull for this, thanks again
Johno :-)
דלוי הרצל חאו ערה בהא תע-לכב

The above is transliterated: We are friends and brothers born for adversity... The implication is strong unity in the face of overwhelming odds.

Caution... it's not going to mean anything except to you since all Hebrew must be read right to left... to place the quote reading up or down along your arm will not have a whole lot of meaning, but then only 1 out of about 1200 people can read Hebrew at any rate. Again, follow the process of highlighting and enlarging to 72 font. It's actually quite nice looking... Shlom! Shalu Shlom Yerushalayim!

Caland thanks for your help really appreciate it. Goin to get this tattooed thanks again Johno
No offence to Clanad, as I'm sure it's correct but I would certainly get a second opinion before you have it tattooed.

Someone asked for something similar once. They wanted to know what a phrase was in Polish but the answer they received meant "F*** off"!

From what I've seen, Clanad seems a genuine poster but I would recommend you ask someone else as well.

No offence Clanad.

Thanks For The Advice and i know your not trying to offend Clanad, but i have alot of trust as Clanad has spent alot of time and gone out of the way to help me, so i think im not goin to worry. Thanks for the warning anyway appreciate this Johno.
None taken squarebear... actually that's very good advice. Just hold on a while johno99 let me locate a translation device that might work. Additionally, the script, when done in STA"M Hebrew is much more handsome. But it doesn't copy too well. Give me some time and I'll see what I can do...

בכל־עת אהב הרע ואח לצרה יולד׃

You can locate the Strong's number for each "word" to verify the phrase from the link below. At the end of the day, you may choose something else... Best of luck!

I mentioned the Assyrian Script actually the one I was thinking of is called ST"AM... while beautiful, one needs a Hebrew script generating program to copy it. One could print the page and present it to your artist for rendition...
The programs to generate Hebrew script are downloadable, if you want. I have two that are excellent and one was free. You can see the ST"AM script here: http://www.blueletterbible.org/cgi-bin/c.pl?bo ok=Pro&chapter=17&verse=17&version=KJV#17

can anyone translate "the way" into hebrew symbols?
Clannad : I read with interest the help you gave to Johno99 and wondered if you could halp me too.
I was wondering if names can translate into Hebrew symbols. if so could you translate : Jan (janice) and Carly.

Could you also translate these quotes : In true love the smallest distance is too great, and the greatest distance can be bridged.

true love believes everything, and bears everything, and trusts everything

I know its a lot. but i would be eternally gratefull.. thanks
Clanad, could you possibly translate, 'Beloved Father' , or something of relatively same meaning?
