how do you get grease stains out??

My other half has got grease/fat stains from cooking on his favourite t-shirt. I have tried vanish but not worked.

any ideas pls???

You can buy Stain Devils from most supermarkets. They are a range of stain removers and each works on different stains. I believe there is one for grease.

I use a Dry Clean Stain Remover made by Spotless - removes grease, oil, tar, chewing gum and the sticky mess made by adhesive labels, got mine at Tesco

Rub neat fairy liquid into it and leave it on for an hour or two then put it through the wash

I know this won't help now,but you should'nt wet any grease or oil mark,but put talcum powder on,leave for a few minutes then brush out, repeat this until mark is gone, the talc will eventually lift the grease,you will only seal it in when you wash it.
