Renault Clio indicator flashers!!

I have a Renault Clio 1.2 1991 ,,, both of the indicators flash on the inside when i put either on (but not the outside!!) was wondering if anyone could tell me if this is part of the manufacture of this particular car or is it a fault with my car?! it has been doing it since i got it in Sept and had just past its MOT before then! anyone help?! thanks

I've been bumped while parked - don't know when or where. Do I need to report it to the police?

Some cars do have both arrows in the car flash which ever way you are indicating, the renault 5 used to do it, so long as the outside indicators are all working and blinking the correct side then there is no problem.
