I have downloaded a youtube video clip, and it now sits in a little icon on the bottom menu.

Does it have to remain there or can I put it in a purpose created file folder?

Can I copy this clip onto a disc to enable to play it on a DVD player?

If either or both of these are possible, can someone please tell me how?

I entered this question on 19/03/07 and buckoneton kindly answered it, but I have since had the following problem, if buckoneton is still out there or anyone else that can help I would be most obliged.

Thanks alot buckoneton, but I now find that the youtube icons along with my clips, that were on my bottom menu, have now disappeared now that I have turned my computer back on, any idea where they have gone?

i don't know if this is what you are trying to do---but i download video from youtube by doing the following

copy the url from the the video that you want ---you will find that to the right of the video that is playing and paste it onto this site http://keepvid.com/
and download it to any place you desire on your system.

then download the free software from this site http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html
to convert it into any format you require.

hope this helps
