offered to change the water pump on my daughters Fiesta ,i've changed water pumps on various fords but not on this model.The car hasnt got a cam belt,so that is not a problem on this car.I think its quite a straight forward job,at least i hope its the pump as she has lost alot of water and has to top it up every time she uses the car.
If its the pump,what sort of job is it..I might change the stat while im doing this job.

Never done one of these before but before you start make sure it is the pump.They normally have a leak off hole on the pump itself.If a seal has gone it will leak down the front of the pump when the engine is running.So just leave it ticking over on your drive and a puddle should appear underneath if it is the pump.Worse case its a head gasket !!
