I am thinking of buing a all in one printer/scanner.
My local MORRISONS have a Lexmark X1200 on offer, after checking prices on the net it is a good deal.
Has anyone got one and do you think they are any good?

It will not be used a great deal.

Check out cost of replacement cartridges first. Lexmark used to be the dearest on offer.
Epson are brilliant, I wouldn't have anything else!
go with everhelpful - I was going to say the same. One way or another they get the money from you, and it is probably best to buy a dearer printer with lower running cost. And, the more all singing and dancing something is, the more they have comprised in certain areas/more to go wrong.
The size of these ink cartridges is a rip-off these days. My HP original black ink cartridge held 40ml of ink. The modern printer I have just bought contains 13ml for the same price. There needs to be an OFFINK adjudicator just like OFGAS to stop this daylight robbery.
Lexmark are very good, I use one, had it about two years now, trouble free, but as Everhelpful has intimated, the cartridges are expensive, probably not a good idea if your going to use it a lot.
I have an EPSON Stylus CX6400 printer/scanner. It was reasonably priced but the ink cartridges seem expensive. In your proposed low-use situation I would recommend this Epson (if it is still available) provided you stick to using Epson cartridges. I tried cheap equivalents and they caused problems, especially with the yellow jet.
