Sunday. Cool, cloudy, but not raining. Yet!

We had a grand day on the canal yesterday, lots of lovely people, from all over the world, including a couple from New Zealand. A young couple who have lived about half a mile from the canal all their lives and never knew it was there!

Tiggy is getting ready to hibernate, came out as soon as he heard me putting his supper out, scoffed it, looked up as if to say 'Ta squire' and waddled off back to bed.

Not doing much today...well, that's the plan...we shall see.

Have a happy day everyone.

Bye Lina xx
crackers seem to help an upset tummy for me DT
I've been on oatmeal a fair amount, minty, and then porridge and, last night, some pasta with cold ham and a few cherry toms....lost 11 pounds in 6 days!

Had my MoT on Friday while the liver is dry and the cholesterol on a low end - no bad thing so as to get at the baseline.
it's actually a dose (mild) of salmonella......however, don't get it is my advice!
nasty..know where it came from ?
a chicken from a well known high street store (more than just a supermarket), organic, due date last Friday and well cooked....think it took some heat somewhere in its transfer.....this was last Monday and 3 hrs after I had 30 secs of nausea - now if I had only cleared out what was in there....... salmonella, well the symptoms including a lot of stomach cramping and that has been the worst thing about it, that and the gas which for two days could only go upwards....once I had clearance in the undercarriage, much better....just one minor cramp so far today and very early on.
did you report it ?
have mentioned it.......hard to nail now as the chicken is out in a white bag and then a black one at the top of the drive.....haven't had any eggs this last week, so can rule those out.

My backstop medically is Tuesday as I am seeing my quack as to my annual blood pressure and the gout as to Purinol...it will be interesting to see if there is anything showing in the bloods and the pressure may be another one that means I have to bring the poisoning up, no pun meant....hrrrmm.
think it is reportable to environmental health here..remember dad had bad experience with crab sticks and the doc reported the shop..they did offer more sticks..offer declined !
