Hi, does anyone know how I find out a history of who owns a piece of land? I know who owns it now from the Land Register, but I want to know who may have owned it before, say 20-30 years ago? Thanks.

^^^ NB: SA's link goes to a commercial website. They'll obviously get their information from the Land Registry and then add on their own profit.

You can get the information directly (for far less!) by submitting form HC1 to the Land Registry:

Ignore my post, Buenchico's post is the one to follow :(
