Momentum types have been urging for deselection for ages, and it's quite infuriating that they're being listened to. There really is no point, it doesn't shut anyone up and just makes the party look authoritarian and sinister.

Stupid move. I hope it doesn't continue.

Labour already is authoritarian and sinister.
I agree with both sides of you.

It was a daft move to sack them both tbh.

Far better to address the issues than shut people down. Done so publicly looks very much like the puppet masters are in control and don't allow the puppets to have opinions, even if they are valid.
The Jeremessiah must not be questioned. Infidels will be....[pause for evil effect].......neutralised.
