Why So Little Respect For People Here

Had the misfortune of trying to take part here today!
I've been bullied all my life over poor spelling, but thought I may be given a chance here.
It being an adult site, but of cause some people's main reason for being here is to belittle and make fun of people. To impress there friends!
I know I've always lacked a good education, in front of people like (Islay) and (new judge).
With there superior education?
And as I've had serious depression, most of my life, I know there's no escape for me.

I am a crap speller and get called out on here now and then.

I just usually thank them for pointing out my mistake and drawing attention to the fact I can't spell.

Although to be honest it is better to just ignore it. Some people just like to feel superior and if my inability to spell helps them feel good about themselves I have done my good deed for the day...

On the other hand some metimes I just tell them to piddle off. It just depends on what mood I'm in lol

G'evening Peakwealker.......I honestly don't think that you have posted enough in Answerbank to suddenly run away as if you have been viciously attacked, when you were posting in what sometimes is a vitriolic area.

Say what equipment you are using (Desktop PC, Laptop,Tablet or whatever) and one of us in AB will tell you how to install a 'Spell Checker' to enable a correction to be made before you post an Answer or ask a Question.

I wood be lost without my Chell Specker, which, for the momnt , Im ignorring to ilustriate what cun hapen wivout it. :-)

Like you, peakwalker, I would like a little more respect and generosity to be forthcoming to contributors on here. Just this evening I had a typo which was picked up, but in a humorous way - no problem. Your contributions, no matter how you present them, are valuable. I have a rubbish computer link and letters cannot keep up with my fingers. I also retire hurt sometimes.

Please keep on going. I don't know who has rubbished you. I do know that I am an ex-English teacher and on here I look solely for what people think and not how they express their opinions. I think you will find that 99% of contributors agree with me. :)

As I said spelling has always been my weak point , that is why 'spellcheck' was invented. Once you have it it is automatic, flags up any incorrect spelling with suggestions for the correct word.
