Second time they've whacked a cargo ship this year. Has anyone told the septics the rules of the sea etc?

Haven't they got radar ( or whatever it is now ) on these boats .
Perhaps the radar man couldn't interpret the blips on the screen

Reminds me of Uncle Arthur explaining why the ship he was on during the war had a collision
He didn't understand the dots on the screen.

On a serious note my sympathies goes out to the families of the lost crew .
It seemed pretty clear from the picture of the damage to the military vessel on the news that it didn't whack anything, bearing - as it did - obvious signs of a blow from a bulbous bow in its side. Still, perhaps the crew should have known a ship was approaching!

yes they were crossing shipping lanes when they should have been giving way.
