Lenovo laptop on Windows 7. I must have inadvertently pressed something as all of a sudden I can't scroll with the arrow keys. There's no scroll lock key on the keypad so how do I get the function back as it's driving me mad?

Not really into laptops; but is there a numlock button ?
How old is it?
Question Author
Yes there's a number lock button but that doesn't affect the scrolling. Laptop probably 5-6 years old - can't really remember!
I can't help with your specific question but, as the owner of a Lenovo laptop myself, I'm sure they come pre-loaded with a mischievous spirit, hell-bent on driving the user insane with random glitches.
Try pressing f7
I think you are right in thinking that you have pressed something and thereby applied the Scroll Lock. On some Lenovo Laptops it's a combination of Fn + c but on others it could be Fn + k or some other combination.

Tell me the model and number so that I can try to find an answer for you.

Thank you Hans. It's a Lenovo G575.
On page 21 of User Manual it indicates to Enable/Disable Scroll Lock......press Fn + Insert.

Try it and let me know the result.

You can view and download (if necessary) a free copy of the manual from the following link :-

Tried that Hans - no joy I'm afraid.
Try holding down the Fn key and then try the Arrow keys. Refer to page 16 of the manual.
