...yesterday in front of a van of Policemen.
Was on my way to my friends house for a chat and to get my nails off.
Right outside my gate is my garden wall and a very narrow pavement. When there is no traffic I tend to walk on the road close to the kerb until I get to the wider part. I stepped out, locked my gate and headed to my usual route, turned round in time to see the Police van turn the corner, so stepped up on the pavement totally misjudged my position turned again and smack into the wall.
I was mortified but thankfully laughed it off when I got to my friends.
Just glad they didn't stop and check I wasn't drunk or anything.

Oh we've all had those moments - I once answered the door to a delivery driver and as the door opened my doormat which the cleaners had propped whilst they mopped fell in on my feet, I startled and stumbled and ended up on my knees at his feet.
We were both in hysterics, he pronounced it the best welcome he'd had that day.
