Well, the kitten has well and truly settled in and is now master of the house. He's just woken up and is working up to his mad hour of running and climbing anywhere he likes. The kids are smitten (even the 17 year old is disappointed when he finds him asleep). However, boy #2 is very skittish around him (he actually climbed onto the dining table thinking the kitten was going to get his toes - a combination of thinking things through too much and not wanting to hurt the cat). I love him, I think he's ace :)

I'll bet that kitty is just delighted with his new friends .:-)
I just love kittens!!
Do you still have curtains?

Before my two arrived and took over I bought them a few beds each and loads of scratch poles. Total waste of money. Merlin sleeps in a cardboard box and Frankie sleeps on top of me.

Are you getting cat insurance?
Question Author
Hi Wolf, yes I've got him gold insurance - I thought it was v reasonable at just over £6 a month.

It will increase as he gets older. I decided to cancel my insurance with Tesco as the renewal for two cats was about £600 for the year. Frankie is asthmatic but his steroids are dirt cheap. No doubt they will both get ill with some expensive illness.

Have fun with your kitten
